PremiumHotels Romania, part of ATMC Group, proudly announces its official affiliation with the Global Tourism Plastics Initiative (GTPI) – a global program coordinated by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), in collaboration with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.

This affiliation reinforces our commitment to sustainable, responsible, and circular tourism, aligned with the UNEP One Planet Network goals.

The GTPI brings together hotels, destinations, and organizations worldwide committed to eliminating unnecessary plastics, developing circular alternatives, and reducing environmental impact within the hospitality industry.

For PremiumHotels Romania, joining GTPI:

  • strengthens our position as a national standard for sustainable hospitality aligned with UNEP, Green Key, and EU EcoLabel principles;

  • provides our certified partners with access to global best practices and sustainability frameworks;
